Who doesn’t love to go to parties? Each day is a different celebration or two! Come and rock out at your Un-birthday Slumber Party! How about a Valentine’s and St. Patrick’s Celebration? Who doesn’t love the Fall Fun with a Halloween Spooktacular? We can’t forget the happiest time of the year with a Merry Little Christmas Bash. Finally, we will end the week loving the summertime with a Tropical Luau. With games, prizes, and crafts every day, your child will not want to miss out on this years’ worth of celebrations packed into one awesome week. It’s party time for every camper!

This camp is all about being fabulous. We are going to be designing our own hair accessories, handbags, jewelry, treats, and nails-just to name a few. Imagine hairstyles done by the professionals. We are going to make, create and be everything “Glitz, Bling, and Glamorous.” If you love to create, have fun and be a star, then this camp is definitely for you. Extreme Warrior

Artillery: CHECK… Ammunition: CHECK… Plan of attack: CHECK All that is missing is you, Extreme Warrior! Your child’s excitement will not be contained during our Extreme Warrior extravaganza: featuring tactical training, team building games, target practice and adventures through our geometric maze. We will provide some pretend artillery for use and pretend ammunition, but to enhance the fun please bring your favorite pretend artillery piece to camp.

Superhero

Bring your camper to join the adventures with the J Star staff, as they use their imagination to solve a new caper each day. There are so many crimes the campers will investigate as they piece together clues to find the villain. Imagination is a must, as role-playing and thrilling adventure encompasses the camper’s experience. Superheroes Camp is guaranteed to spark their ingenuity and provide exciting escapades!

SKILL CHALLENGE! Super Hero time! Let’s fly, jump, leap, twist, roll and dive through obstacles as we build higher and jump farther!

Magic, Witch & Wizard

At Magical Witches and Wizards Camp, your child will receive their acceptance letter into the J Star School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Campers will make their own wands and broomsticks for casting spells and flying through the night sky. We will also explore Herbology, potions and caring for magical creatures. To end our week we will play a friendly game of magical Kwidditch.

Galaxy Quest

3-2-1 Blast Off! Come soar into space with us and get ready for one wild ride. Campers will join our elite group of Cosmo Kids to help defend and keep our galaxy safe. Campers will recite and uphold the Cosmo code each day and learn to be the best Cosmo Kid they can. We will run some tests to see if the campers have what it takes to be up in space, we will go through training courses that check our senses, coordination, agility, speed and more. Campers will get to practice their fighting skills with our space saver weapons like the light sword and flare striker. They will even get to make their very own light sword. Campers will also have to battle the evil forces that are trying to take over the universe. They will have to use clues and their keen senses to help find the whereabouts of some very important items. If your child loves space and using their imagination, they will not want to miss out on our big Galaxy Quest!

Pin it, Craft it, Create it

These days coming up with cool ideas and projects are the “next best thing”. Well, at J Star we have found some awesome forms of art that are just out of this world. Together we will create some amazing projects and jewelry showing our creative, artistic side. At Pin It, Craft It, Create It Camp your camper will be designing projects from sand art to jewelry creations and not to mention a lot of paint, glue, pinning, creating and fun. If you’re looking for your child to explore their creative side then this is definitely the camp for you. We do ask that you wear clothes that are allowed to get messy.

Jump, Stunt and Tumble

Jump, Stunt & Tumble Camp is all about experiencing one of the fastest growing sports in the country: cheerleading! Whether your child is already on a team, wants to prepare for a school team, or simply wants to have some fun, Jump, Stunt & Tumble Camp is the place to advance your knowledge of the sport. Cheerleaders in this high-energy camp will learn to perform jumps, motions, tumbling and stunts, as well as learn about showmanship and teamwork. On Friday, campers will do a final performance with music in front of their friends and family! A cheerleading related craft is included every day in this camp.
